Divali 2015....Ein Spaziergang durch Port Mathurin und ein Besuch

Wie jedes Jahr zieht mich Divali wegen seiner Lichter an. Kein Jahr ohne einen Blick in die Stra8en von Port Mathurin geworfen zu haben...-

As every year I can't resist the lights of Divali. No year without strolling around through the streets of Port Mathurin to get glimpses of the few decorated houses...-

Comme chaque année, Divali m'attire avec ses jolies lumières. Pas une année sans aller dehors le soir pour découvrir les peu de maisons décorées ici à Port Mathurin...

Immer schön geschmückt ist das Yoga und Meditationszentrum Brahma Kumaris in der Rue de la Solidarité.-

Always nicely decorated is the Center for Yoga and Meditation Brahma Kumaris.-

Toujours joliment décoré le Centre de Yoga et Méditation Brahma Kumaris.

Diese beiden Mädels hatten ihre hübschesten Kleider an, und waren, als ich ankam, noch dabei mit ihren Eltern Lichterketten aufzuhängen...-

These two girls, wearing their best dresses, were still in the middle of helping their parents to finish decorating the light chains...-

Ces deux filles portaient leurs plus jolies robes quand je suis passée et elles étaient encore en train d'aider leurs parents à arranger les chaines de lumières...

 

 

Famille Luckeeram....

Wie jedes Jahr war es ihre Tochter Vidhi, die das Rangoli geschaffen hatte, ein folkloristisches Muster, das am häufigsten mit farbigem Reis im Eingangsbereich eines Hauses während Divali und anderen Festen gelegt wird.

As every year it is their daughter Vidhi who had created the rangoli, a folkloric pattern laid most often with coloured rice in the entrance area of a house during Divali and other festivals. 

Comme chaque année, c'est leur fille Vidhi qui avait créé le rangoli, un motif folklorique posé le plus souvent avec du riz coloré dans l'entrée d'une maison lors de Divali et autres fêtes.
