Eigentlich wollte ich wie letztes Jahr gerne etwas mehr zu diesem Anlass schreiben, doch in Ermangelung an Muße und Zeit hier nur ein Foto, das ich vorhin erst auf facebook gefunden habe...
Ich mag es, weil es einmal mehr bestätigt, wie sozial auch Schildkröten sind, ich bin immer wieder beeindruckt, wenn in Rodrigues im Schildkrötenpark Anse Quitor, die Riesenschildkröten den Kontakt zu Menschen suchen (Hunde sind ja nicht erlaubt...:)) und den Besuchern manchmal wieselflinkgleich auch folgen (ohne dass sie gefüttert werden). Und sie mögen es gestreichelt zu werden...-

I like it because it confirms once again how social tortoises are. Every time when I visit our tortoises park in Rodrigues, the Reserve Francois Leguat in Anse Quitor, I am hugely impressed how eager the giant tortoises are searching the contact to people (dogs are not allowed...:)), sometimes even following the visitors so speedy that it makes you think of weasels...(and that without anticipating food).
