Weihnachten steht vor der Tür, und es scheint als ginge der sehnlichste Wunsch, der dieses Jahr landauf landab geäußert wurde, in manchen Ländern bereits in Erfüllung. Erste Staaten haben bereits begonnen, ihre Frontliner sowie ältere und besonders vulnerable Menschen zu impfen. Erster zugelassener Impfstoff dabei ist Pfizer-Biontech, doch auch Moderna sowie AstraZeneca erhalten nach und nach ihre zumeist bedingten bzw. Notfall-Zulasssungen.-
Christmas is just around the corner, and it seems that the most ardent wish that has been expressed globally this year has already come true in some countries. Die erste Patientin wird am 08.12.2020 im Vereinigten Königreich mit Pfizer-BioNtech Impfstoff gegen Covid-19 geimpft.Dies ist der Auftakt der Impfkampagne. Die USA zieht am 14.12. nach, danach folgt Saudi-Arabien am 17.12, Israel am 19.12., Deutschland und Frankreich beginnen am 27.12. und Irland am 29.12.2020. Bis die Impfstoffe von Moderna und AstraZeneca zugelassen werden (AZ am 30.12.2020 in UK) wird erst einmal mit Pfizer-BioNTech geimpft. Ausnahmen ist Russland, wo bereits seit dem 06.12.2020 mit SputnikV geimpft wird.-
The first patient to be vaccinated against Covid-19 is on December 8th, 2020 in the UK with the Pfizer-BioNtech vaccine, marking the start of the vaccination campaign in the country. The USA follows on December 14, followed by Saudi Arabia on December 17, Israel on December 19th, Germany and France on December 27. and Ireland on December 29. In einem Artikel vom 18.12.2020 kann man lesen, dass die Regierung Interesse an Impfstoffen gegen Covid-19 zeigt, die sich in der Vermarktungsphase befinden. Eine Interessenbekundung wurde an vier große Pharmakonzerne gesendet, darunter Pfizer, Moderna, Astra Zeneca und Sputnik.
„Die Regierung hat Interesse an einer möglichen Übernahme von 4 Impfstoffherstellern bekundet. Wir wissen, dass diese 4 Hersteller gute Fortschritte bei der Impfstoffentwicklung gemacht haben. Wir werden hier nicht aufhören, sobald weitere Studien die Wirksamkeit anderer Impfstoffe belegen, wird die Regierung eine Interessenerklärung abgeben, die auf dem Fortschritt der Studien basiert. Sagt Dr. Zouberr Joomaye.-

In an article dated December 18, 2020 you can read that the government is showing interest in vaccines against Covid-19, which are in the commercialization phase. A call for expressions of interest has been sent to four major pharmaceutical companies, including Pfizer, Moderna, Astra Zeneca and Sputnik.
“The government has expressed an interest in making the possible acquisition from 4 vaccine producers. We know that these 4 producers have made good progress in vaccine development. We're not going to stop there, as soon as more studies show the effectiveness of other vaccines, the government will make a declaration of interest based on the progress of the studies", Dr. Zouberr Joomaye says-.
Et où en sommes-nous à Maurice? Quand avons-nous, en tant que petite nation insulaire africaine, une chance d'être vaccinés?
Dans un article du 18 décembre 2020, on peut lire que le gouvernement s'intéresse aux vaccins contre Covid-19, qui sont en phase de commercialisation. Un appel à manifestation d'intérêt a été envoyé à quatre grandes groupes pharmaceutiques, notamment Pfizer, Moderna, Astra Zeneca et Sputnik.
« Le gouvernement a exprimé l’intérêt de faire l’acquisition éventuelle, auprès de 4 producteurs de vaccin. Nous savons que ces 4 producteurs ont bien avancé dans l’élaboration de vaccin. Nous n’allons pas nous arrêter là, dès que d’autres études montrent les efficacités d’autres vaccins, le gouvernement fera une déclaration d’intérêt en fonction de l’avancée des études. » avance le Dr Zouberr Joomaye.
