Gay wedding cakes soon in Ireland as on May 22 a referendum voted with a great majority YES for the right of same sex marriages.
Find here a list for how long and in which other countries so far gay couples as wedding cake toppers have not been an issue any more...(except maybe for the bakeries..:))

Big question : Which country is next?
Gay Marriage - No legal right in Germany...
but at least we have little gay traffic light men and women from time to time in various cities...
Note:
"Since 1 August 2001, Germany has registered partnerships (Eingetragene Lebenspartnerschaft) for same-sex couples, providing most but not all rights of marriage. In 2004, this act was amended to include adoption rights (stepchild adoption only) and to reform previously cumbersome dissolution procedures with regard to division of property
and alimony. Attempts to give equal rights to registered partners or to
legalize same-sex marriage have generally been blocked by the CDU/CSU, the main party in government since 2005. All other main parties support full LGBT equality. The Federal Constitutional Court of Germany has however issued various rulings in favor of equal rights for
same-sex registered partners (such as joint tax filing benefits),
requiring the governing coalition to change the law." (source)
And for the records:
The first same sex marriage in our region here was celebrated by two women on June 14 in 2013 on Reunion Island, one of the first marriages after it was legalised in France.
