Hasen in Rodrigues...Easter Bunnies in Rodrigues

Das ist Hasenklee,Trifolium arvense, und den gibt es, soweit ich weiß, auf Rodrigues nicht.-

This is Trifolium arvense, in Germany considered as plant which might only be attractive to bunnies.As far as I know, it does not grow here on Rodrigues.

Genauso wenig wie Hasen, so dachte ich lange Zeit. Deshalb, und nicht nur wegen ihrer Ohren hielt Miss Molly lange Zeit den Rekord als vermutlich interessanteste Hasenart, die man jemals auf dieser Insel erlebt hat....-

Just as rabbits, so I thought for a long time. And so it was Miss Molly who jumped in, becoming promptly the most interesting bunny species on the island, and not only because of her ears...

Doch dieses Jahr, und gleich auch noch pünktlich zu Ostern, gibt es Konkurrenz für Molly.Zwei kleine Hasen leben seit Freitag im Garten einer guten Freundin....-

But this year, and with perfect timing, two competitors for the title of cutest Easter bunny in Rodrigues have arrived in the garden of a good friend....
