Eine Blogger-Freundin in Deutschland (Josefine) fand Anfang des Jahres beim Googeln von Trou D'Argent* in Rodrigues dieses Foto, und darüber fand ich neben seiner e-mail Adresse auch all seine anderen Fotos, die er während seines Aufenthaltes hier 2004 gemacht hat. Jan Eric Johnsen ist Norweger, hat eine Schwäche für Inseln, was ihm sicher geholfen hat, neben vielen anderen Inseln, auch Rodrigues zu finden. Ich freue mich, dass er nichts dagegen hat, dass wir auf seine lebendigen Fotos hier aufmerksam machen, meine favourites sind, wie könnte es anders sein, die Spinnen und das Gefängnis...)), aber zu dem ein anderes Mal mehr....Erst mal viel Spaß beim Entdecken von Rodrigues, und hier geht's zu all seinen Fotos...mit Dauerlink in unserer Liste rechts...

A German blogger friend (Josefine) found this photo in the beginning of this year, when she googled Trou D'Argent* in Rodrigues, that helped me to find not only his e- mail address but his other photos too taken during his stay here in 2004. Jan Eric Johnsen comes from Norway and has a soft spot for islands which must have helped him to find beside a lot of others Rodrigues too. I want to thank him very much to allow us to share his beautiful photos. By the way, I like especially the spiders and the prison...)) but more to that topic another time...Please enjoy!

Kalunde - Fotos und Berichte gesucht....

Wie schon im unteren Posting kurz angedeutet, suchen wir Fotos und Berichte von Kalunde und Rodrigues in der Zeit kurz vor, während und nach dem Zyklon vor 5 Jahren. Foto links stammt aus unserem eigenen dürftigen Archiv und zeigt die Ecke Mont Fanal-Victoria Street - damals, heute sieht es schon wieder komplett anders aus.Wer mit uns Kontakt aufnehmen will, kann das tun, über einen Kommentar hier zum Thema oder über die e-mail Adresse birgit.dirk@gmail.com Die Fotos würden wir gerne in einem extra Kalunde-Album zur Ansicht stellen, natürlich mit Namen. As already mentioned in the posting below, we are looking for photos and reports about the time of Kalunde - shortly before, during and after the cyclone 5 years ago. Our personal archive is limited to a few pics only, as the one above showing the corner of Mont Fanal/Victoria Street - today looking quite different again.Who would like to get in touch with us, could either leave a message in Kommentar/comments or directly via e-mail: birgit.dirk@gmail.com. Comme mentionné déjà en bas, nous cherchons des reportages et des photos de la periode -juste avant, pendant et après- quand Kalunde faisait son tour autour de Rodrigues il y a 5 ans. Fotofunde....

Ich habe gerade im Internet per Zufall zwei sehr schöne Fotoalben zu Rodrigues gefunden von kirikou, wer immer das sein mag, es stand keine Kontaktadresse dabei, deshalb einfach nur die Links und ein Foto zum Lust machen, in der Hoffnung, dass kirikou nichts dagegen hat: Album Rodrigues 1 & Album Rodrigues 2


Just found on the net, great pics of our island by kirikou whoever it is, no contact address was given, so I just link to the pics Rodrigues 1 & Rodrigues 2. Enjoy -and if ever kirikou comes across this site, a big thank you for having caught our island so beautifully, just contact us, so that we get more details about when you were here, my guess is 2005 or even a bit earlier!?
