The Harbin Snow & Ice Sculpture Festival has been held since 1963. It had been interrupted for a number of years during the Cultural Revolution until it was resumed in 1985. It is one of 4 largest ice festivals around the world which attracts lots of people.It usually starts at 5 January and is open for one month depending on the weather.
