Wenn ich mir die Wünsche zum neuen Jahr anschaue, die bislang bei mir eingegangen sind oder die ich selbst verschickt und weitergeleitet habe, gibt es kaum welche, die ohne Bezug zu Corona sind. Es war ein Jahr ohne jeglichen Vergleichs, ausnahmslos. Und wir werden es wohl kaum vergessen. Alle Hoffnungen konzentrieren sich nun auf die Impfstoffe, die 2021 zu einem anderen Jahr machen sollen. England hat bereits begonnen zu impfen, die USA ebenfalls...Viele Länder sind dabei ihre Impfzentren einzurichten. Auch Mauritius.

It was a year without any comparison, without exception. And we will hardly forget it. All hopes are now focused on the vaccines, which are set to make 2021 a different year. England has already started vaccinating, the USA too ... Many countries are in the process of setting up their vaccination centers. Mauritius too.
Quand je regarde les vœux pour la nouvelle année que j'ai reçus jusqu'à présent ou que j'ai envoyés et transmis moi-même, il n'y en a pratiquement aucuns qui soient sans rapport avec Corona. Ce fut une année sans aucune comparaison, sans exception. Et il est peu probable que nous l'oublions. Tous les espoirs sont désormais concentrés sur les vaccins, qui devraient faire de 2021 une année différente. L'Angleterre a déjà commencé à vacciner, les États-Unis aussi ... De nombreux pays sont en train de mettre en place leurs centres de vaccination, y compris Maurice.
Wie auch immer das nächste Jahr wirklich wird, wir wünschen das allerbeste, viel Kraft und Gesundheit, aber auch Ereignisse und Momente, die zeigen, dass wir das lachen und das Leben genießen noch nicht verlernt haben. Und wie fast jedes Jahr, sage ich, für uns hätte es noch schlimmer kommen können, wir sind gesund geblieben, unsere Insel hatte keine offiziellen Fälle, und trotz der massiven Konsequenzen, keine Touristen, keine Einnahmen..., bin ich dankbar und gehe auch mit etwas Optimismus ins nächste Jahr.

Whatever the next year, we wish the very best, lots of strength and health, but also events and moments that show that we have not yet forgotten how to laugh and to enjoy life. And like almost every year, I say, things could have been worse for us, we stayed healthy, our island had no official cases, and despite the massive consequences - no tourists, no income ... I am grateful and leave also with a little optimism into the next year.

Quelle que soit l'année à venir, nous souhaitons le meilleur, beaucoup de force et de santé, mais aussi des évènements et des moments qui montrent que nous n'avons pas encore oublié comment rire et aimer la vie. Et comme presque chaque année, je dis, les choses auraient pu être pires pour nous, nous sommes restés en bonne santé, notre île n'avait pas de cas officiels, et malgré les conséquences massives -pas de touristes, pas de revenus ... Je suis reconnaissant et repars aussi avec un peu d’optimisme pour l’année prochaine.
