Die französische Insel La Réunion werde am Mittwoch aus dem am 13. Juli wegen der erhöhten Verbreitung des Coronavirus ausgerufenen Gesundheitsnotstand hervorgehen, teilte die Regierung mit. Das Dekret zur Beendigung des Gesundheitsnotstands auf La Réunion soll am Mittwoch (13.10.) vom Ministerrat ratifiziert werden. Präsident Emmanuel Macron hatte die Entscheidung im Juli in einer Fernsehansprache mit dem "unzureichenden Impfstand" und mit dem "starken Druck" aus den Krankenhäusern begründet.

"Seit neun Wochen wird die Verbesserung der Gesundheitslage auf der Insel bestätigt", teilten die Präfektur und die regionale Gesundheitsbehörde dieser Insel im Indischen Ozean am Dienstag in einem gemeinsamen Dokument mit.

Die in La Réunion seit dem 31. Juli geltenden Maßnahmen wurden am 15. September vollständig aufgehoben und die Ausgangssperre um 23 Uhr endete am 4. Oktober.

Vom 2. bis 8. Oktober wurden 241 Fälle registriert, eine Inzidenzrate von 28,2 pro 100.000 Einwohner gegenüber mehr als 400 pro 100.000 Einwohner Ende Juli, als die Epidemie vollständig wieder aufflammte. Die Präfektur verhängte daraufhin ein Bewegungsverbot außerhalb eines Umkreises von 10 km der Wohnung (5 km am Wochenende) und ein Ausgehverbot zwischen 19:00 und 5:00 Uhr.

The French island of Reunion will emerge on Wednesday (13.10.) from the state of health emergency that was declared on July 13 due to the increased circulation of the coronavirus, the government said. The decree ending the state of health emergency in Reunion is due to be ratified by the Council of Ministers on Wednesday. The confinement in force in Reunion since July 31 had been completely lifted on September 15 and the curfew at 11 p.m. ended on October 4.

From October 2 to 8, 241 cases were recorded, an incidence rate of 28.2 per 100,000 inhabitants, against more than 400 per 100,000 inhabitants at the end of July, when the epidemic was in full resurgence. The prefecture then imposed a ban on movement outside a radius of 10 km around his home (5 km on weekends) and on going out between 7:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.

L’île française de La Réunion va sortir mercredi de l’état d’urgence sanitaire qui avait été décrété le 13 juillet dernier en raison de la circulation accrue du coronavirus, a indiqué le gouvernement.

Le décret mettant fin à l’état d’urgence sanitaire à La Réunion doit être entériné mercredi en Conseil des ministres.

Le président Emmanuel Macron avait justifié cette décision, en juillet lors d’une allocution télévisée, par le « niveau de vaccination insuffisant » et par la « forte pression » hospitalière.

« Depuis neuf semaines l’amélioration de la situation sanitaire se confirme dans l’île », ont indiqué mardi dans un document commun la préfecture et l’Agence régionale de santé de cette île de l’océan indien.

Le confinement en vigueur à La Réunion depuis le 31 juillet avait été complètement levé le 15 septembre et le couvre-feu à 23H00 avait pris fin le 4 octobre.

Du 2 au 8 octobre, 241 cas ont été recensés, soit un taux d’incidence à 28,2 pour 100.000 habitants, contre plus de 400 pour 100.000 habitants fin juillet, alors que l’épidémie était en pleine recrudescence.

La préfecture avait alors imposé une interdiction de se déplacer en dehors d’un rayon de 10 km autour de son domicile (5 km le week-end) et de sortir entre 19H00 heures et 05H00.
