Sie entschieden sich für die ihnen zur Verfügung gestellten Hotels für die obligatorische Quarantäne.

Dans cinq jours, les frontières seront à nouveau ouvertes. Le premier
vol est prévu le 3 octobre en provenance de Dubaï. Mercredi, lors d’une
conférence de presse, Zouberr Joomaye, porte-parole du National
Communication Committee (NCC), a indiqué que 362 passagers, soit 179
Mauriciens et 183 étrangers détenteurs de permis de résidence et de
travail, avaient déjà signifié leur intention de rentrer au pays. Ils
ont opté pour les hôtels mis à leur disposition pour la quarantaine
obligatoire. Toutefois, une semaine après le lancement de la plateforme
de réservations MyMauritius par la Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority
(MTPA), force est de constater, les premiers contingents de voyageurs
qui ont déjà fait leur réservation ne comprennent aucun touriste. Il
faudra donc s’armer de patience de ce côté-ci.
Au niveau de l’Association des restaurateurs et hôteliers de l’île
Maurice (ARHIM) et du comité national de communication sur le Covid-19,
personne ne veut commenter officiellement ce constat pour le moment. Par
contre, on laisse comprendre qu’on est actuellement loin de la période
de vacances. Et aussi, que l’épidémie se propage dans nos principaux
marchés fournisseurs de touristes, soit la France et La Réunion et que
des restrictions plus sévères seront prochainement appliquées. De
conclure qu’il faudra attendre encore un peu, le temps que les touristes
comprennent qu’il faudra passer une quarantaine payante à Maurice avant
de pouvoir profiter du soleil, du sable et de la mer mauricienne.
Pendant ce temps, la liste des hôtels de trois à cinq étoiles peut
être consultée sur le site de la MTPA. Pour chaque vol, le passager a un
choix de quatre à cinq hôtels. À la question de savoir comment les
établissements hôteliers ont été choisis, on est resté sur notre faim du

correspondent aux critères demandés. Il faut savoir que des passagers
peuvent se retrouver dans une même chambre d’hôtel car le regroupement
familial est permis. «Ces hôtels doivent avoir les installations et
services que nous demandons. Et une fois que les officiers ont effectué
leurs vérifications, nous donnons le feu vert», soutient une
source. À savoir que le personnel hôtelier ne s’attellera qu’aux tâches
de housekeeping alors qu’une équipe médicale sera sur place pour
effectuer les contrôles sanitaires.
Comment s’enregistrer? Le passager devra s’inscrire sur le site de la
MTPA. Dans un premier temps, dépendant de son vol, il devra choisir un
hôtel, qui va de 3 à 5 étoiles. Les prix varient entre Rs 49 994 pour
une réservation au Preskil et Rs 420 000 à Maradiva. Certains hôtels

Deux vols Air Mauritius sont pour l'instant prévus vers Sir
Seewoosagur Ramgoolam : l'un le 5 octobre et l'autre le 12 octobre. La
fréquence devrait rester hebdomadaire, même si l'on peut constater que
ce n'est pas l'affluence dans les réservations ( 3 réservations d'hôtel
en 48h) et on peut comprendre pourquoi !

Il faut aimer les tests PCR pour se lancer dans l'aventure : un premier
doit être réalisé 5 jours avant le voyage, un autre sera réalisé à
l'aéroport à l'arrivée (dans le laboratoire prévu à cet effet), puis un
autre pendant la quatorzaine, au retour même combat avant le voyage puis
à 7 jours... Prix du billet aller simple: 243,71€. ...

stricte sera appliquée, en chambre exclusivement avec room service. ...

Maurice vend du rêve !
Stéphane Trape (président de l’AITL) : « Le protocole est contraire à une volonté de reprise de l’activité »
Les opérateurs touristiques réunionnais sont agacés suivant le
protocole sanitaire mis en place à Maurice pour la réouverture des
frontières aux touristes internationaux, c’est le moins que l’on puisse
dire. Et ils ne se gênent pas pour le faire savoir. Dans une lettre
publiée sur les réseaux sociaux, Stéphane Trape, directeur général de
Vacances Pei et président de l’AITL (Association des Indépendants du
Tourisme et des Loisirs), ne mâche pas ses mots. Rappelant les
principales mesures annoncées, dont les 14 jours de quarantaine et les
frais de Rs 40 000 à Rs 50 000 « aux frais du voyageur », Stéphane Trape
écrit que « il est pour nous, professionnels du tourisme, évident que
ce protocole est totalement contre-productif et contraire à une volonté
de reprise progressive de l’activité ».
Pour ce professionnel du tourisme réunionnais, l’arrangement décidé
concernant la quarantaine est « totalement irrecevable » tout simplement
parce que les touristes réunionnais séjournent en général trois à
quatre nuits à Maurice, donc cette mesure « rend impossible » tout
séjour de courte durée pour ces derniers à Maurice. Ensuite, le coût de
la quarantaine « est établi sans aucune transparence », observe Stéphane
Trape, qui se demande comment les agences de voyages réunionnaises vont
« vendre ces tarifs ».
La mise en place de tests PCR fait aussi débat chez les voyagistes
réunionnais et l’AITL de souligner qu’il est « complexe d’imposer à
notre clientèle trois tests COVID alors que pour partir en France
métropolitaine, nos clients n’en font pas et que pour venir à La
Réunion, nous n’en demandons qu’un et proposons un test facultatif mais
conseillé à sept jours. Bien évidemment, nous ne voulons pas interférer
dans la stratégie sanitaire du pays mais nous soulignons le fait que
nous n’aurons que peu ou pas de clients qui accepteront de se soumettre à
ces trois tests ».
Après la quarantaine et les tests PCR, les professionnels réunionnais
s’inquiètent également du « manque de communication » sur plusieurs
aspects impactant la reprise de leurs ventes sur Maurice. Le président
de l’AITL indique aussi que les opérateurs réunionnais ne sont pas en
présence d’information officielle sur la date éventuelle de reprise des
vols commerciaux vers La Réunion et Maurice, cela même si la mise en
place du protocole « laisse supposer » un redémarrage le 1er octobre.
Stéphane Trape interpelle également les autorités mauriciennes sur le
« devenir d’Air Mauritius » et sa santé financière : « Nous vous
rappelons que les agences de voyages ont émis des avoirs selon
l’ordonnance du 25 mars, nous permettant de préserver notre trésorerie
et celles des compagnies aériennes. A ce jour, nous voulons avoir des
informations sur la viabilité financière de la compagnie aérienne et sa
capacité à honorer ces avoirs. »
En conclusion, le président de l’AITL dit souhaiter la mise en place d’un protocole « plus adapté » à la clientèle réunionnaise.
