Gestern lief im deutschen Fernsehen der Fernsehfilm „Die Welt steht still“. Ein Film über Corona, der versucht, "Bilder für eine Zeit zu finden, in der noch niemand ahnte, was die Pandemie für die Welt bedeutet". Ich habe ihn schon einen Tag zuvor über die ZDF Mediathek gesehen. Seit wir Glasfaserkabel haben, ist es möglich zu streamen. Ja, und ich möchte diesen Film allen sehr ans Herz legen. Gerade jetzt.Leider gibt es ihn erstmal nur auf Deutsch. -

Hier, le téléfilm "Et le monde s'arrête"(trad.) a été diffusé à la télévision allemande. Un film sur Corona qui essaie de trouver des images à une époque où personne ne soupçonnait ce que la pandémie signifierait pour le monde. Je l'ai vu la veille, dimanche, sur la ZDF Mediathek. Depuis que nous avons du câble en fibre optique, il a été possible de diffuser en stream. Oui, et je voudrais recommander chaleureusement ce film à tout le monde.Surtout maintenant. Zum Film
Als die Bilder aus Bergamo um die Welt gehen, ist auch allen Nichtmedizinern klar, was das Wort Pandemie bedeutet. Vier Tage später gelten auch in Deutschland Ausgangsbeschränkungen. Das Leben der Konstanzer Intensivmedizinerin Dr. Carolin Mellau und ihrer Familie steht Kopf. Carolin wird Mitglied des Krisenstabs und ist rund um die Uhr im Einsatz, um die Klinik in Rekordzeit auf den drohenden Ernstfall vorzubereiten. Schutzkleidung und Beatmungsgeräte fehlen, Personal muss geschult werden, neue Intensivbetten werden eingerichtet.
Als Anästhesistin, die die COVID-19-Infizierten intubiert, trägt sie ein hohes Infektionsrisiko, das Carolin aber ausblendet. Sie sorgt sich mehr um die jungen Kollegen, denen die Routine fehlt.
Gleichzeitig geht es auch in Carolins Familie drunter und drüber: Ihr Mann Stefan, der Oboe in einem Kammerorchester spielt, muss seine Konzertreise absagen und darf seine Musikschüler nicht mehr unterrichten. Er sitzt von einem Tag auf den anderen ohne Einkommen zu Hause.
Tochter Luzy und Sohn Tim können nicht in die Schule und ihr Homeschooling offenbart eine digitale Bildungsmisere. Hinzu kommt Luzys Liebeskummer: Sie und ihr Freund aus der Schweiz werden getrennt, denn die Grenze, die in Konstanz mitten durch die Stadt verläuft, wird dichtgemacht.(source)
About the plot
When the pictures from Bergamo went around the world, it got clear to all non-medical professionals what the word pandemic means. Four days later, exit restrictions also apply in Germany. The life of the intensive care doctor Dr. Carolin Mellau from Constance and her family is getting upside down. Lorsque les images de Bergame ont fait le tour du monde, la signification du mot pandémie est devenue claire pour tous les professionnels non médicaux. Quatre jours plus tard, des restrictions de sortie s'appliquent également en Allemagne. La vie du docteur en soins intensifs de Constance Dr. Carolin Mellau et sa famille sont à l'envers. Carolin devient membre de l'équipe de crise et est en service 24 heures sur 24 pour préparer la clinique à l'urgence imminente en un temps record. Les vêtements de protection et les ventilateurs manquent, le personnel doit être formé et de nouveaux lits de soins intensifs sont en cours d'installation.

La fille Luzy et son fils Tim ne peuvent pas aller à l'école et leur enseignement à domicile révèle une misère éducative numérique. En plus, il y a le chagrin de Luzy : elle et son petit ami de Suisse sont séparés parce que la frontière qui traverse le centre-ville de Constance est fermée.

Ein Film über die Anfänge von Corona...
Brauchen wir das, wo doch die Pandemie noch gar nicht vorbei ist? Manche haben sich diese Frage tatsächlich gestellt. Ich denke, ja, unbedingt, wir brauchen das. Denn wie wir an den letzten Ausbrüchen in der Welt sehen können, und damit meine ich persönlich ganz besonders Mauritius und Deutschland, leidet die Menschheit an pathologischem Gedächtnisverlust.
Bei jeder Lockerung wird gelebt, als sei alles vorbei, Abstand halten, Masken tragen und Hygienemaßnahmen werden nicht mehr konsequent eingehalten, man trifft sich wie früher eben, Geimpfte, Genesene und Ungeimpfte. Und die Warnungen von Virologen werden ignoriert, auch von der Politik. Man ist müde, will zum Alltag übergehen, außerdem sind wir doch schon zu fast 70 % geimpft, kann doch alles gar nicht so schlimm werden. Die Zahlen gehen hoch? Kein Problem, alles asymptomatisch oder fast jedenfalls. Ja, und die, die dennoch auf der ICU landen und sterben? Bedauerlich, aber da war sowieso fast nichts mehr zu machen, außerdem ungeimpft und zu viele Vorkrankungen.
Die letzten Ausbrüche machen mich fassungslos und wütend. Wir nehmen in Kauf, dass wieder viele Menschen sterben, denn da wo die Zahlen der Infizierten in die Höhe schnellen, wird auch viel gestorben. Es trifft vor allem die Ungeimpften, aber auch die Geimpften sind betroffen, denn Delta hat die Karten nochmal ganz anders gemischt, und dass der Impfschutz mit der Zeit abschwächt und geboostert werden sollte wissen wir spätestens seit Israel.
Ja, wir müssen uns erinnern, jeden Tag, wie es war in Bergamo, in Frankreich, in Spanien, in den USA, im UK, in Brasilien, in Chile, in Indien, in Portugal, in Russland und überall. Wir sind bei über 5 Millionen Toten angelangt, was mit Sicherheit nicht die wirkliche Anzahl widerspiegelt, denn viele an oder mit Covid-19 vestorbenen Menschen gehen erst gar nicht in die jeweilige Landesstatistik ein. Mehr als 250 Millionen Infektionen weltweit seit ein paar Tagen, auch hier ist das nur eine Zahl, die in Wirklichkeit um ein mehrfaches höher liegen dürfte. So werden in Mauritius bspw. erst gar nicht die positiven Schnelltests mitgerechnet. Erst seit wenigen Wochen wissen wir, dass es jeden Tag mindestens 1000 bis mittlerweile 1500 positive Fälle gibt, und das sind nur die Schnelltests, die in Einrichtungen des Governments vorgenommen werden. Gestorben wird auch in Selbstisolation, Menschen, die nie oder nur kurz einen Arzt gesehen haben.Und manche davon sind jung, doppelt geimpft und gänzlich ohne Vorerkrankungen.
PCR Tests wurden vielerorts reduziert, lediglich anzuwenden bei Personen, die Symptome zeigen.Impfzentren wurden geschlossen wie in Deutschland, obwohl man hätte wissen müssen, dass das Boostern vielleicht auch eine schwellenarme Logistik braucht, wenn man soviele Menschen wie möglich in kurzer Zeit erreichen will.
Ja, wir müssen uns erinnern. Erinnern an all jene, die sich immer wieder aufs Neue jeden Tag zur Arbeit geschleppt haben um uns zu retten, zu versorgen, unsere Angehörigen zu trösten, schlechte Nachrichten zu überbringen und gegen ein Virus zu kämpfen, das unerbittlich ist.
Ja, wir müssen uns erinnern, dass Gesundheit ein hohes Gut ist, und dass es in Budgets auch diesen hohen Platz bekommt. Die Pflege war nahezu überall unterbesetzt, mittlerweile ist der Pflegenotstand eklatant. 9000 Pflegekräfte, die noch letztes Jahr in deutschen ICUs gearbeitet haben, sind mittlerweile draußen. Zu erschöpft und frustriert um weiterzumachen.Weniger Personal, weniger Betten, weniger Pflege. Jeder Coronakranke bedeutet, dass Patienten mit anderen Krankheiten möglicherweise nicht so behandelt werden können, wie an sich geplant. "Keine Hüften, keine Knie" eben.
Es braucht fundierte Ausbildung, menschenwürdige Arbeitsbedingungen und Anreize. Der Jetztzustand ist kein Anreiz, er ist eine Abschreckung.
Ja, wir müssen uns erinnern, denn in dieser Pandemie haben viele des medizinischen Personals, die für uns gekämpft haben, ihr Leben oder ihre Gesundheit verloren. Wir sind es ihnen und all denen, die ihr Leben verloren haben und ihren Angehörigen verdammt nochmal schuldig.

Est-ce que dont nous avons besoin vraiment lorsque la pandémie n'est pas encore terminée? Certains ont effectivement posé cette question. Je pense que oui, absolument, nous en avons besoin, car comme nous pouvons le voir avec les dernières hausses de chiffres dans le monde, et je parle personnellement de Maurice et de l'Allemagne en particulier, l'humanité souffre de pertes de mémoire pathologiques. A chaque relâchement, les gens vivent comme si tout était fini, ne gardent plus leurs distances, ne portent plus des masques et les mesures d'hygiène ne sont plus strictement respectées, les gens se rencontrent sans protection comme dans le passé, les vaccinés, les guéris et les non vaccinés. Et les avertissements des virologues sont ignorés, y compris par les politiciens. On est fatigué, on veut retourner à la vie de tous les jours, nous sommes déjà vaccinés à près de 70 %, donc tout ne peut pas être si mal que ça. Les chiffres augmentent-ils ? Pas de problème, tout est asymptomatique ou au moins presque. Oui, et qui finit tous les jours à l'USI et meurt ? Regrettable, mais il n'y avait rien à faire de toute façon, pas non plus vacciné et trop de comorbidités. Les derniers épidemies de la maladie m'ont laissé stupéfait et en colère. Nous acceptons que de nombreuses personnes mourront à nouveau, car là où les chiffres montent en flèche, beaucoup mourront également. Cela touche principalement les non vaccinés, mais les vaccinés sont également touchés, car Delta a rebattu les cartes complètement différemment, et que la protection vaccinale devrait être affaiblie et à renforcer au fil du temps, on le sait au moins depuis Israël.

Les personnes qui n'ont jamais vu de médecin meurent également dans l'auto-isolement, et certaines sont même jeunes, doublement vaccinées et sans aucune maladie antérieure.
Les tests PCR ont été réduits dans de nombreux endroits, pour n'être utilisés que sur des personnes présentant des symptômes. Des centres de vaccination ont été fermés comme en Allemagne, même si on aurait dû savoir que la troisième dose, le Booster, peut également nécessiter une logistique à bas seuil si on souhaite toucher le plus de personnes possible en peu de temps.
Oui, nous devons nous souvenir. Se souvenir de tous ceux qui se sont traînés au travail chaque jour pour nous sauver, pour subvenir à nos besoins, pour réconforter nos proches, pour apporter de mauvaises nouvelles et pour combattre un virus qui est sans relâche.
Oui, il ne faut pas oublier que la santé est un bien essentiel et qu'elle mérite une place de choix appropriée dans les budgets. Les soins étaient en sous-effectif presque partout, tandis que l'urgence des soins est criante. 9 000 infirmières qui travaillaient dans les unités de soins intensifs allemandes l'année dernière sont maintenant en dehors. Trop épuisé et frustré pour continuer ; moins de personnel, moins de lits, moins de soins. Toute personne atteinte de coronavirus signifie que les patients atteints d'autres maladies peuvent ne pas être traités comme prévu. "Pas de hanches, pas de genoux".
Une formation bien fondée, des conditions de travail décentes et des incitations sont nécessaires. L'état actuel n'est pas une incitation, c'est une dissuasion.
Oui, nous devons nous en souvenir car dans cette pandémie, de nombreux membres du personnel médical qui se sont battus pour nous ont perdu la vie ou leur santé. Bon sang, nous le devons à eux et à tous ceux qui ont perdu la vie et leurs proches.
