Wie jedes Jahr findet in Rodrigues auch diesmal wieder eine Fête du Poisson zum diesjährigen Auftakt der Netzfischerei in der Lagune statt. Anders jedoch als in den Vorjahren, wird das Ereignis schon vor dem 1. März mit einer ganzen Reihe von Aktivitäten begangen.Da unsere Lagune bekanntlich überfischt ist und seit vielen Jahren eigentlich darauf gepocht wird, dass sich eine Verlagerung hin zum Fischen außerhalb der Lagune entwickelt, stehen dieses Jahr eher Aktivitäten im Vordergrund, die mit der Erhaltung unserer Lagune im Zusammenhang stehen. So wird ein Film zum Thema gezeigt, vor dem Cotton Bay Hotel wird die Lagune gereinigt und wie man sieht, hat sich auch das Logo ein wenig verändert...
Auch in den nächsten Beiträgen geht es um Fisch, Fischen und das Meer, wenn auch nicht immer in Rodrigues....-

As our lagoon is known to have been over-exploited for many years, causing a necessity to shift from traditional fishing towards fishing outside the lagoon, the festival this year is featuring more activities related to the preservation of our lagoon.For example, a film will be shown on this topic for the public and students of a local college, the lagoon close to the Cotton Bay Hotel will be cleaned, and as we can see, even the logo has changed a bit ...
During the next days, here too it will be about fish, fishing and sea related topics, although it might not always be connected to Rodrigues ....-
