Heute ist Nikolaus. Wir erinnern uns, der Tag, an dem traditionell in Deutschland Überraschungen in herausgestellten Schuhen zu finden sind. Eine besondere Überraschung gab es heute in Deutschland, der neue Minister für Gesundheit heißt ab 8. Dezember Karl Lauterbach. Und damit hat Deutschland zum ersten Mal in der Geschichte einen kompetenten Fachmann auf diesem Posten. Wie kaum ein anderer hat sich Lauterbach während der Pandemie als unermüdlicher Mahner und Gegner verfrühter Lockerungen einen Namen gemacht. 2021 war er Deutschlands häufigst eingeladener Gast in Talkshows. Impfgegner und Querdenker bekommen Ausschlag, wenn sie nur seinen Namen hören, alle anderen lieben ihn für seine Arbeit vor Corona zu warnen, wissenschaftliche Studien zu zitieren und auf social media mit der Allgemeinheit zu teilen und sich nicht davor zu scheuen als unbequem zu gelten. Während der gesamten Pandemie erwiesen sich seine Vorhersagen zur Ausbreitung des Virus zusammen mit den verschiedenen harten Maßnahmen, die zur Bekämpfung der Virusausbreitung erforderlich sind, als vorausschauend.Man darf gespannt sein, wie er sich als Minister machen wird. -

Il y a eu une surprise particulière en Allemagne aujourd'hui, le nouveau ministre de la Santé sera Karl Lauterbach à partir du 8 décembre. Et pour la première fois dans l'histoire, l'Allemagne va avoir un spécialiste compétent à ce poste. Comme nul autre, Lauterbach s'est fait un nom pendant la pandémie en tant qu'infatigable avertisseur et opposant aux assouplissements prématurés. En 2021, il était l'invité le plus fréquemment en Allemagne dans des talk-shows. Les opposants à la vaccination et les penseurs latéraux gagnent des éruptions cutanées quand ils n'entendent que son nom, tout le reste l'aime pour son travail, sa manière de mettre en garde contre Corona, citer des études scientifiques et les partager avec le grand public sur les réseaux sociaux et pour ne se laisse pas intimidé par être considéré inconfortable.Tout au long de la pandémie, ses prédictions concernant la propagation du virus ainsi que les diverses mesures sévères nécessaires pour lutter contre la propagation du virus se sont avérées prémonitoires. Il sera intéressant de voir comment il s'en sortira en tant que ministre.

Karl Lauterbach, geboren 1963, ist ein deutscher Wissenschaftler, Arzt und SPD-Politiker, seit 8. Dezember 2021 Bundesgesundheitsminister. Er ist Professor für Gesundheitsökonomie und Epidemiologie an der Universität zu Köln.2008 wurde er als außerordentlicher Professor an die Harvard School of Public Health berufen.-

He is professor of health economics and epidemiology at the University of Cologne. He was appointed adjunct professor at the Harvard School of Public Health in 2008.-
Karl Lauterbach, né en 1963, est un scientifique, médecin et homme politique allemand du Parti social-démocrate d'Allemagne, ministre fédéral de la Santé depuis le 8 décembre 2021. Il est professeur d'économie de la santé et d'épidémiologie à l'Université de Cologne. Il a été nommé professeur adjoint à la Harvard School of Public Health en 2008.
